The A3 Thinking Blog

Avatar photo By Jon Miller Updated on May 19th, 2017

Launched quietly in March by Art Amalley and Prof. Durward Sobek, authors of the Understanding A3 Thinking book, the A3 Thinking Blog promises to be an excellent resource. So far there are just a handful of articles such as User Feedback on A3 Reports in which they share positive feedback on the use of the A3 process from lean practitioner in healthcare, an article titled Recent Toyota QC Circle Example in which a team works on reducing defect levels in machining by 0.05% (photos in Japanese – see if the pictures tell you the gist of the story!), a good article on TQM and QC circles which includes a two-part TQM & QC Circles handbook for downloading. There is also a link to a review of the A3 Thinking book which is worth reading for a quick summary of the main points and benefits of the book.

If you have a moment please visit the A3 Thinking Blog and give the authors some encouragement to continue posting valuable information.
