Gemba Academy Releases Online Kaizen Course

We now have over 100 videos and 56 hours of online learning about lean thinking and continuous improvement at Gemba Academy. In the past month we have added 9 modules to our newest course, the Kaizen Way. We introduce the kaizen philosophy, kaizen events, jishuken, QC circles, suggestion systems and even simpler ways of doing kaizen.
At 9 modules we are far from finished. We aim to make this course a comprehensive guide to doing kaizen, whether you are just starting or are an experienced practitioner looking for ways to kaizen how you do kaizen. We will go on-site to see an actual kaizen event unfolding. We will show the “behind the scenes” step-by-step process in planning, facilitating and following up on kaizen events. Interviews with kaizen leaders, consultants and people taking part in kaizen will shed light on real world kaizen examples.
Combined with the existing Gemba Academy online training courses on topics such as value stream mapping, the 7 QC tools, quick changeover, practical problem solving, 5S and many others, the Kaizen Way course offers a framework for rapidly engaging people in implementing improvements.
The Kaizen modules are included in the Complete Lean Package and can also be purchased as a stand alone course.

    Dear Jon,
Really informative, thanks for the advice. Quite helpful on one’s base knowledge for lean and continuous improvement.
