Bloggers Unite in Keller Texas

By Ron Published on April 1st, 2007

Since starting Lean Six Sigma Academy I have been fortunate enough to form many new friends. Perhaps the most interesting friendship I have made is with one of the “giants” of the Lean blogosphere, Mark Graban. Mark and I live in the same town (Keller, Texas) and even attend the same church. It’s a small Lean world we live in, eh?

Anyhow, Mark and I have been meaning to meet up for coffee to talk about Lean and blogging for some time and we were finally able to make it happen Saturday morning.

We enjoyed some coffee and overpriced pastries and talked about many things related to Lean and Six Sigma. We also snuck in some Big Ten football talk. Mark tells me this may be the year of the mighty Northwestern Wildcats! We shall see Mark, we shall see.

Mark also shared lots of valuable blogging tips with me for which I am very thankful. One day I may actually be in position to reciprocate some tips… but for now I am happy as the pupil!

So if you live under and rock and have never visited the Lean Blog please do. Mark is both an expert Lean blogger and all around nice guy.

Hey! I am from FW and I was surprised to see a post from someone close by. I am new to Lean & Six Sigma and recently took the ASQ online course for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Since I am new to this, I would like to meet people with more experience in LSS so I can use my new skills effectively. If you are willing to grow your discussion group I would very much enjoy learning more about LSS from your group. You can reach me at [email protected].
