That which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger

By Ron Pereira Updated on January 31st, 2011

As a young boy growing up in Ohio I learned to love Ohio State.  I was watching them play football before I even knew what football was.  It’s hard to explain to most how much I love them.

And it’s hard to express how sad it makes me to see them lose in yet another National Championship game.

This game tonight was bizarre and much different than the beating we took last year.  I need to double check but I believe we actually out gained LSU.  But in the end we made far too many mistakes… especially all the personal fouls.

Brian Robiskie also dropped a key touchdown pass that would have really helped out!  But he has made many good plays this year so I don’t want to be too hard on him.

And with that LSU took full advantage of the mistakes and beat us fair and square.  Congrats to them.  They seem like a bunch of good kids and hopefully the win does some good for that city.  Lord knows they need it.

Let it be known… I am proud to be a Buckeye fan and plan to leave my flag waving outside my house for the rest of the week.  They are my team and I am sticking with them.  Plus, with only 3 seniors leaving and probably just a few juniors we are going to be loaded again next year.

GO BUCKS!
