This conversation illuminates the structural disadvantage or weakness that Lean has compared to other options available to CEOs to achieve corporate objectives. Their view of winning differs substantially from the Lean view of winning. The differences are wide and span many different areas (https://tinyurl.com/y6vz9kdx), which if we ignore will relegate Lean to being nothing more than a niche management practice.
